The Weekly Structure
Three full-body strength sessions per week are enough for meaningful progress when the programming is focused and repeatable.
A Monday-Wednesday-Friday split works well, but the exact days matter less than consistency and adequate recovery between sessions.
Session Format
Keep each session to 45 to 60 minutes: a short warm-up, 35 to 45 minutes of resistance training, and a brief cool-down.
Focus on compound movements that give you the highest return per minute: squat, hinge, push, pull, and carry patterns.
Progressive Overload
Results come from doing a manageable amount of work and gradually improving it over time.
When all planned reps feel solid, add a small amount of load, a rep, or a set. Small increases done consistently outperform random hard weeks.
Recovery
Sleep, adequate protein, and a realistic training calendar matter more than squeezing in extra exercises.
If work gets busy, reduce session length before you skip the week entirely. A lighter version of the plan keeps momentum intact.
